Phoenix Dalla Costa

AI Applications Specialist

Phoenix primarily focuses on using artificial intelligence to streamline NBRR’s manufacturing processes, making research and design faster and more accessible for those without 3D modeling experience. Additionally, he has a large role in NBRR’s workforce development program with underwater ROVs. During his tenure as an NBRR intern, Phoenix documented and repaired out-of-service units to be used for instruction and training. Currently an undergraduate at UMass Dartmouth, pursuing an accelerated BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Phoenix will graduate with his bachelor’s degree a year ahead of schedule in order to complete a master’s degree in his fourth year of study.  Outside of NBRR, Phoenix loves game development and skiing, and is currently spending most of his free time developing a game about skiing.
