Internship Program

About Our Internship Program

NBRR engages high school and university graduate and undergraduate students from numerous institutions and disciplinary areas of study in our Internship Program where they establish and build professional networks with engineers, researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and creatives. Participants in our Internship Program gain access to, and experience with, frontier technologies, including industrial robots, advanced manufacturing workflows, and marine robotics. Their training focuses on the development of essential soft and hard skills to enhance employability and also includes advancement pathways for returning interns to gain experience in mentoring and peer coaching.

NBRR typically hosts 35 interns per year between academic semesters and summer sessions. Our interns thrive in NBRR’s collaborative environment–it’s where they hone their technical talents, develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills and where they find community.
